Configure Platform Settings

Configure Platform Settings

When: During initial setup, when staff changes, or when processes change.

  1. Organization: Settings then Organization — keep name, contact info, timezone, and NAICS code current.
  2. Team: Settings then Team — add/remove users, assign roles. Ensure departed staff have access revoked.
  3. Notifications: Settings then Notifications — configure who receives what alerts.
  4. Products: Settings then Products — maintain the list of pesticide products for label training.
  5. Certifications: Settings then Certifications — define certification types and expiration periods.
  6. Response Policies: Incidents then Response Policies — configure step-by-step response procedures for different incident types.

Outcome

The platform is correctly configured and all features function as expected.

Common Mistakes

Not revoking access when staff leave. Not updating products when chemical inventory changes.

What Happens If Skipped

Stale configuration causes incorrect compliance calculations, unauthorized access, or missing training requirements.
