Terms of Service
These template terms cover customer use of Aversify as a compliance evidence system. They are intentionally scoped for counsel review before production use.
Pre-launch template - counsel review required
Use of the service
Customers may use Aversify to manage California agricultural workforce compliance workflows, preserve training and incident evidence, coordinate grower-contractor compliance requests, and generate compliance records.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the people entering data into Aversify are authorized to do so and that customer-provided information is accurate.
Electronic records and signatures
Aversify relies on electronic records and signatures for training attestations, sign-ins, supervisor certifications, account acceptance, and compliance attestations.
Before production use, counsel must approve the electronic-consent wording, versioning model, and retention language so each signature is linked to the specific record and legal text in effect at signing.
Compliance evidence
Aversify is designed to preserve evidence through append-only ledgers, hash-chain verification, audit events, and role-scoped access controls.
Customers should not delete, alter, or obscure compliance records outside documented correction, retraction, anonymization, or legal-hold workflows.
Customer data and worker data
Customer data includes organization records, worker records, training evidence, incident information, documents, signatures, and audit metadata submitted to or generated by the service.
Worker personal information is subject to the privacy policy and any applicable data processing addendum. Aversify's service-provider commitments must be finalized in the design partner or customer agreement before paid grower launch.
Security responsibilities
Aversify is responsible for maintaining documented security controls for the service. Customers are responsible for managing their users, roles, devices, and instructions to workers and supervisors.
Security questionnaires, SOC readiness evidence, penetration-test status, and trust-center artifacts are maintained separately from this template.
Counsel review
This source-controlled template is an engineering and legal review artifact. It must not be treated as final production legal language until counsel approves it and the approval is recorded in the remediation program evidence packet.
