Understanding Crew Clearance Status

What "cleared to work," "needs attention," and "not cleared to work" mean, and how status is determined.

Understanding Crew Clearance Status

When: When you need to understand what the clearance statuses mean and how they are determined.

  1. Cleared to work means every worker on the crew has everything needed for the ranch. The crew is good to go.
  2. Needs attention means the crew can work today but something is expiring soon. Action is needed to keep them cleared.
  3. Not cleared to work means one or more workers are missing required training or documents. The crew should not work the ranch until this is resolved.
  4. Status is checked automatically based on the ranch's requirements and each worker's records.

Outcome

You understand the three statuses and can make informed decisions about crew access to your ranches.

Common Mistakes

Treating "Needs attention" the same as "Cleared to work." Expiring items will become issues if not addressed promptly.

What Happens If Skipped

Misunderstanding status leads to either unnecessary crew restrictions or allowing unprepared crews to work.
